October 15, 2012: My latest addition is the alter of the Thai-Chinese shrine of the Goddess Brahma Met in Bangkok, Thailand. Determining the English name equivalent for a chinese temple is an interesting exercise. In many cases, the English name turns out to be an English transliteration of the Thai name, which in turn is a Thai transliteration of the Chinese name, which in some cases like this one, is a Chinese transliteration of the original Indian name for the namesake goddess of the temple.

October 12, 2012: Welcome to my Fine Art website. I am a nature and scenic photographer. Most of my scenic work takes place in Thailand where I photograph the many Buddhist temples. Currently, I am working on photos I took in Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Thailand. Ayutthaya temples currently on view are Wat Phra Chao Phya-thai which was built in 1357 A.D. by King U-Thong and Wat Chaiwatthanaram which was built by King Prasatthong in 1630 A.D.
